Dianne Morad

Dianne began her career alongside former U.S. Labor Secretary Marty Walsh when he was a freshman state representative from Boston. From there, she led state public policy and intergovernmental relations for Massachusetts public safety and public health agencies.  In those roles, she secured significant funding for operations and capital improvements, and policy changes to improve services to the Commonwealth's most vulnerable residents.  Shortly after Walsh became Mayor in 2014, she helped him build out Boston’s first-ever Economic Development cabinet.

Dianne specializes in public safety, construction trades issues, and public health, an expertise cultivated over years in public policy, public administration, political campaigns, and consulting.  She has worked extensively on Massachusetts cannabis concerns since decriminalization in 2008, through the introduction of medical marijuana in 2012, and the adult use industry currently underway.
